Since joining Orthopedic Associates of Hartford, I have served as team medical consultant for Glastonbury High School, Trinity College men's hockey, The New England Falcons EJHL hockey program, The Hartford Wolfpack, and The Hartford Seawolves arena football. I'll help you get well as simply and quickly as possible. Unfortunately, some conditions require surgery. I attend meetings and stay current with our medical journals, but I prefer procedures which have withstood the test of time, leaving experimental approaches with unproven track records to other surgeons and more adventurous patients.
I only schedule procedures that are within my comfort zone and currently specialize in arthroscopic procedures involving the shoulder and knee. I've performed thousands of arthroscopic knee and shoulder procedures, including meniscus repairs, ligament reconstructions, rotator cuff and labral repairs, and have replaced several hundred arthritic knees.
Outside of work, I enjoy family activities, yard work, biking, hiking, and photography.
